This series was created because the photographer lives near a park where dogs are walked every day. Ursula observed the dog owners and invited some to her studio.
That’s where the stories originated, stories about the bond between the owners and their dog. About access arrangements between divorcing owners, about deceased dogs.
For others, the pet felt like a child, an extension of the family, the dogs became human. And that’s how the photographer photographed them.
