In 2019 I walked past an authentic and empty house on the IJssel; De La Sablionierekade 3 in Kampen. It was for sale, and once inside, it seemed as if time had stood still.
The house was for sale for a long time and deserved a resident who saw its beauty. The then owner gave me the key to make a photographic series in the building.
During the “Open House days” in 2019 there were two exhibitions in the house, hundreds of visitors walked through the building in amazement, but no one bought it.
In January 2020 I unexpectedly became the owner of this special and wonderful house, and my photo studio is located here.
